Admission Policies

The CSCJ Basic Education Department is open to any student who wishes to avail of its services and facilities provided that he/she meets the requirements and regulations set forth. However, the school reserves the right to deny admission or re–admission of students under certain conditions.

Admission Requirements for:

  • Kinder – must be 4 years old by June of the current school year
    • Photocopy of birth and baptismal certificates
    • 1” x 1” ID picture
    • Admission Test and Interview
  • Preparatory – must be 5 years old by June of the current school year
    • Photocopy of birth and baptismal certificates
    • 1” x 1” ID picture
    • Admission Test and Interview
  • New Students (Grade I to X)
    • For Grade I – must be 6 years old by June of the current school year
    • Submit for an interview with the Admission Committee with the following requirements:
      • Report Card (Form 138)
      • Birth and Baptismal Certification (photocopy, NSO Certified)
      • Recommendation/Certification of Good Moral Character from the Principal or Guidance Counselor of the School last attended.
      • 1” x 1” ID picture (for application form)
      • Satisfactory rating in the entrance examination
      • Satisfactory personal interview of the student applicant and parents.
  • Old Students
    • Report Card (Form 138)
    • Satisfactory grade in Conduct
    • No academic deficiency
    • Students with unsatisfactory grade in conduct are given PASS OUT grade to facilitate their transfer to other schools
  • For Filipinos who have studied in foreign school
    • Submission of DepED evaluation and validation credentials
    • All requirements for New Students
  • For Foreign Students
    • Submission of a study permit or Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
    • All requirements for New Students
  • 9th and 10th Grade – new students applying for 9th and 10th Grades will be admitted ordinarily if they are former students of this school or other DC schools, and are able to present proof of academic and conduct eligibility, subject to the approval of the Committee on Admission.
    • Submission of Form 138 (Report Card) and application for entrance examination.
    • A Final Average of 80%
    • New Students with academic deficiencies will be not accepted. Must submit letters of Honorable Dismissal or Recommendation from the last school attended.
    • Satisfactory Conduct Grade
    • Required to take a battery of tests administered by the Guidance Center and must successfully pass these tests.
    • Satisfactory personal interview of the student applicant and parents.
    • Approval of entrance application by the Committee of Admissions.
  • Returning StudentsStudents asked to withdraw from the school for academic reasons maybe readmitted after a year of studies in another school upon showing improved academic performance (an average of 80%) and after passing the entrance examination. A satisfactory conduct grade shall be required.
