INSTITUTIONAL DIRECTION
COLEGIO DEL SAGRADO CORAZON DE JESUS, INC., Research and Development Program facilitates the discovery, articulation and application of new knowledge and technology for integral formation and development of persons in poverty situations.
A vibrant research and development program animated with Christian and Vincentian values promoting a culture of research among the faculty, staff and students by enhancing their competency in conducting studies and in applying and disseminating information and findings for the benefit of the ongoing development of the insitution and for the service of the Church, and of society.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The Research and Developmental Program aims to achieve the following:
- To increase awareness and recognition by all personnel of the importance of research in the improvement and development of the CSCJ as a Catholic community of learners.
- To involve actively all personnel and students in the research program of the institution.
- To disseminate to the public all institutional research outputs through annual research symposia and colloquia and in the Integrated Research Journal and other research journals.
- To establish linkage and network with other educational institution for collaboration and funding in research.
- To use research findings as inputs to instructions by all faculty members, administrator and stakeholder for innovation.

C. Learner Development
The CHEI directs the entire educational process towards the whole development of the person. It pursues the advancement of human dignity through research, teaching, and various services offered to the local, national, and international communities.
