The President's Message
Crafting Newness, Charting Hope: A Welcome Message for Academic Year 2026-2027
Dear Beloved Students, Parents and Guardians, Faculty and Staff, Alumni, Benefactors, and Valued Community Partners,
Vincentian greetings!
As we begin Academic Year 2026–2027, we pause to thank God for His providence and the blessings bestowed upon Colegio del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús through the dedicated, visionary leadership of our dear Sr. Ma. Asuncion G. Evidente, DC, whose faithful service for over a decade has profoundly strengthened our school community.
In full obedience to God’s call, let us sustain and nurture this beautiful legacy entrusted to us. Building upon this strong foundation, we move forward as one Vincentian-Sagradista family under our guiding institutional theme for this year: "CSCJ Vincentian Artisans: Crafting Newness, Charting Hope."
This theme invites every member of our school community to become an artisan of transformation. An artisan does not merely observe change; an artisan actively shapes the future with vision, dedication, and purpose. As an empowering, Christ-centered Vincentian learning institution, we are driven by a singular, sacred Mission:
We commit to engaging the community of learners in becoming inner-directed, globally competent Vincentian leaders who journey with persons living in poverty situations and care for God’s creation.
To live out this mission as an Empowering Vincentian Learning Institution, we dedicate ourselves to:
- Empowering Our Community: Enabling stakeholders to embrace the Vincentian charism, maximize their potential, and promote life-giving growth through meaningful engagement.
- Living as a Vincentian Learning Institution: Keeping the legacy of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac alive by grounding our philosophy, curriculum, and pedagogy in Vincentian ideals, responding systemically to the cries of a suffering society.
As we open this new academic year, we pray for deep fidelity to this calling. May we become true Vincentian Artisans who craft new possibilities, strengthen communities, and chart pathways of hope.
Living Our Core Values
To chart hope effectively, our tools must be forged from the very Core Values that define our Sagradista identity. We challenge every member of our community to live out and witness to these principles daily:
- Respect – Upholding human dignity, providing a safe learning environment through holistic development, and showing reverence for God’s creation.
- Simplicity – Embracing a lifestyle that witnesses the truth, integrity, honesty, and transparency.
- Service – Manifesting an expression of love, compassion, and solidarity with persons living in poverty situations through shared social responsibility, accountability, and active networking.
- Vincentian Excellence – Cultivating analytical, technical, and social competencies through innovation and creativity, and embodying resilience and agility in navigating the challenges and opportunities of emerging realities.
To Our Stakeholders: Co-Artisans of the Mission:
You are the first educators and primary artisans of your children's character and values. Together, let us nurture them to uphold human dignity, care for God's creation, and live lives rooted in faith and compassion, helping them remain Christ-centered in their decisions, relationships, and aspirations.
To our administrators, professors, instructors, and support personnel, you are the master artisans of CSCJ through your expertise, dedication, and daily sacrifices. Let us embrace the spirit of collaboration and innovation as we chart a path of hope for the communities in our care.
You are living witnesses to the transformative power of a Catholic-Vincentian Education. Your achievements, leadership, and continued engagement reflect the values that CSCJ strives to impart. As bearers of our legacy, I invite you to stay connected with your beloved Alma Mater. Your continued support and collaboration strengthen our mission, helping CSCJ remain a vibrant community of faith, service, and excellence.
- To our student leaders: Lead with humility, integrity, and compassion. Use your influence to radiate
peace and hope, creating an environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
- To all our students: This campus is your home for learning, growth, and discovery. May our classrooms, hallways, laboratories, offices, and open spaces be safe sanctuaries where you feel respected, supported, and inspired to become the best version of yourselves.
